Hello, I am Mrs. Jodi Downerd and I am one of the preschool teachers at T.C. Knapp Elementary. I have been a Preschool teacher at Perry Local for 22 years. Before I came to Perry I was an Itinerant Preschool teacher for 3 years at Crawford County. I have my Bachelors from Bowling Green State University and my Masters in Early Childhood of the Handicapped Child from Ashland University. I have been married for 22 years to my husband Todd. Todd is employed at Chase bank as a financial adviser and is active in Perry Rotary. We have a daughter Chloe who is 18. She will be attending The Ohio State University. We have a son Cooper who is 14 years old. We also have a dog named Izzy, Guinea Pig Miles and a lizard named Benson. I enjoy spending time with my family and going on vacations. I have the integrated preschool class. I will teach pre-kindergarten skills in my class through activities and center-based play. Some of the skills that will be introduced are: social skills, sharing, turn taking, colors, shapes, numbers 0-10, counting to 20, patterns, graphing, coins, letter people, rhyming, cutting, and following directions.
Mrs. Maylor My classroom aide is Nicki Maylor. Mrs. Maylor has been employed by the Perry Local Schools for 5 years. She has been married to Rich for 10 years. Mrs. Maylor has 1 child, Dylan. He will be in Fifth Grade at Pfeiffer Intermediate She enjoys family time, home decorating, volunteering for the school and hanging out with her friends.
